SNOW!

Last Sunday, I had my first "big" snow! I was a little skeptical when I checked the weather on Friday. It was 70 degrees outside, and they were calling for a 90% chance of snow for Sunday. I was very skeptical, but had high hopes.

Much to my surprise, when I woke up at 6:30AM. This is what our backyard looked like!

I was so excited! I didn't even take the time to put on my shoes before going out on the deck to get a closer look.

I ran to wake Matt up. He wasn't quite as excited as I was. He got up a few hours later and took me outside to build my very first snowman.

I think it was obvious that I haven't had very much practice. Matt told me my snowman looked like Uncle Fester. Haha!

The snow continued to come down hard, and I continued to bounce around in excitement like a little kid. I was glued to the window all day.

The house looked so pretty covered in snow!

We ended up getting about 4-5 inches!

After the snow stopped, we drove around to look at the neighborhood. I loved seeing the little kids smiling faces as they stood next to their snowmen. It was so cute! Here is a snowman we saw in the park in Homewood.
