SNOW!

Last Sunday, I had my first "big" snow! I was a little skeptical when I checked the weather on Friday. It was 70 degrees outside, and they were calling for a 90% chance of snow for Sunday. I was very skeptical, but had high hopes.

Much to my surprise, when I woke up at 6:30AM. This is what our backyard looked like!

I was so excited! I didn't even take the time to put on my shoes before going out on the deck to get a closer look.

I ran to wake Matt up. He wasn't quite as excited as I was. He got up a few hours later and took me outside to build my very first snowman.

I think it was obvious that I haven't had very much practice. Matt told me my snowman looked like Uncle Fester. Haha!

The snow continued to come down hard, and I continued to bounce around in excitement like a little kid. I was glued to the window all day.

The house looked so pretty covered in snow!

We ended up getting about 4-5 inches!

After the snow stopped, we drove around to look at the neighborhood. I loved seeing the little kids smiling faces as they stood next to their snowmen. It was so cute! Here is a snowman we saw in the park in Homewood.

It's been a while!

It's been a while since I have posted! I have been extremely busy between wedding planning and my internship. My internship will be done next Wednesday! I can't wait!!! Yesterday, I spent the entire day reading handbooks, and today I was told to just "sit at my desk". It's so awful! I am ready to be back at the bank! I have realized how thankful I am to have my wonderful job!

The wedding planning is moving along smoothly. I think all we have left is picking out music, and addressing invitations. Oh, and we need someone to sing at our wedding. That's the only thing I am worried about. We are having trouble finding people to sing. We want a man and a woman to sing "When God Made You" by NewSong. I absolutely love this song!

We have changed our wedding colors. The dresses were just a little bit darker than expected....so I decided to bring more "summer" in with my flowers, etc. We will still have the brown, but we are going to be using pinks, greens, and purples instead of the blue. I can picture my wedding in my head now, and am getting more excited every day!

We took engagement pictures a couple of weekends ago! They turned out great, and I hope to have a few posted on here soon! I've got to decide which one to put in the paper! I tried to put an engagement picture in my header, but I completely messed that up. Does anyone know how to fix it?
